As I Once Again talk about....

a very controversial and heart stopping topic. Slavery and the sex trade which is still happening all over the world in case you did not already know. I was made aware on facebook about this new movie that is currently in theaters and it caught my attention. I have not seen the movie, but I have seen the trailer and it looks very eye opening. I remember first finding out about slavery and the sex trade when I was a young teen when I went to a youth conference in Leipzig  Germany with my sister and parents and church group. I was shocked and horrified at what was happening all over the world and not just in the foreign countries, even in the USA.

Please proceed with caution, please ask your parents before you watch this if you are under 18, there is no graphic images, but there is violence in the trailer. Thanks! The movie is called Trade of Innocents and is only showing in limited theaters, so if its in your city go see it! :)

Their website and facebook page also have lots of good information about the movie and the producers story about why he decided to make the film. I would not normally post about this issue, but its a real issue and it needs to end and I pray to the Lord it does in my life time.

God bless!

This is the first time I've heard of that movie. Thanks for sharing! It's so easy to forget about things like that when I get wrapped up in my daily busyness.

I've been wanting to see it and read the book. I didn't know you went to Germany and saw that type of lifestyle lived out in the streets out there. . .which yes, it is certainly a bad area where you were!!! I would love to know more about it!!!

Ana yes I forget about this issue all the time because I live in America in a part where I don't see the sex/slave trade at all.

Victoria I did not actually see the sex/slave trade in germany. Sorry I did not make that clear. I saw a video about the sex/slave trade because IJM( international justice mission) was doing a track about the issue at the conference. So that is how I found out about the modern slave trade. Sorry its not a more epic story!
