Gods Faithfulness when we are doubting

Hi all!

I know its been forever since I have written here. God has been teaching me a lot and I have been growing in my faith despite some doubting on my part that God would use little old me for his purposes. My church is going out on the streets tonight to share the Gospel and all day I have been nervous and doubting God can use me to share His message of salvation. He always does, but today I have been sad that I am doubtful of the Big God we serve. These songs put me back into a joyful mood and made me realize how big and amazing God is again. If we can use people like David and Esther and Mary and Hannah and Moses for his purposes he can use little old me. I may not see the fruit of my labors now but Lord willing someone later in life will give their lives to the Lord because our group decided to talk to them about Jesus.

So give these songs a listen and I hope these songs give you a glimpse of our Great and Mighty God.

Bohemian meets 1930s Outfit of the day

I am sorry in advance for the poor sound quality of the video with the wind and the lawn mowers at the end. Enjoy anyway though!

I asked the lady who made the hat if she could make it without chains like the one in her shop and she kindly obliged. So do ask if you don't want chains on the side with the bow and she can do that. I love the  big bow a lot!

 Please excuse my headphones, I was walking and wanted music to listen to.

My pashmina scarf is from a store called Compass, which is only in Texas unfortunately. The snowflake necklace from Ashley was fun to wear when the snow came and I love how it sparkles.

 My hat is from Felt Fancy's Esty shop and my necklace was given to me by Ashley from Bramblewoodfashion.

Healthy Hair Treatment Tutorial

Hello everyone!

I thought I would film myself doing the hair treatment I talked about in January. Everyone seemed so interested and I thought this video would be a welcome help to those who wanted to try it. If you have any questions, want to try it, or have tried it please comment. I love to hear from all of you! I know I have not posted in over a month and I can't promise lots of posts, but I have some ideas in mind for future posts. I hope to be posting some more before the end of the month is out. Nail Polish Review

Yes I know a nail polish review? Are you crazy rebecca? :) I just thought I would review some I have liked a lot and some I dislike a lot. That way when you want to go out and buy one you don't waste your money on essie just because it was hyped up on youtube. I thought it would be a great polish, but it chipped the first day I wore it. Wet n Wild on the other hand has lasted me 5 days before chipping.

Christmas Haul and Clinique Lip product review

So just a disclaimer that I am not trying to brag about what I received for Christmas, this haul is for you guys to have fun watching and maybe you might want to go out and buy some of these things. I wanted to review the lip products and recommend some of the nail polishes and books as well. Let me know if you like this type of post or if you don't. Please be kind in the comments though if you don't like it. 

I bought 3 lip products from Clinique with my Christmas money from family. Thank you family!

The first lip product is a Clinique lipstick in the color Cranberry Cream and I have loved wearing it for New years today. The only thing I dislike about it is it comes off really easy after eating. I love that it is very moisturizing though! I was surprised that without a lip balm underneath my lips don't get dried out with this lipstick on. That was a plus definitely!

The other two lip products are also Clinique, one is a  Super Strawberry Chubby Stick and the other is an Almost Lipstick in the color Black Honey. These are both available from Sephora and amazon.com as well as from a local consultant. I bought mine from Sephora.

 I also talked about my wet n wild nail polish in the color Red a Good Book and I am wearing it in these pictures. I love it!

The chubby stick is a great every day color in super strawberry. I have gotten a lot of compliments when I wear it. 

Black honey looks very dark in the tube, but its really a great natural lip color on. The swatch on my hand does not do it justice. I will insert a photo of myself wearing it when I get a chance.

1. I broke my nose when I was 12 playing baseball, so its actually crooked. :)
2. I was not homeschooled until 6th grade and went too public and private school before that. 
3. I used to play with juggling sticks/devil sticks.
4.  I used to love manga and anime when I was a kid and drew manga style cartoons. 
5.  I used to be a morning person and now I am becoming a night owl. 
6. I have a sister. 
7. I have never been much of a reader. 
8. My favorite color is light blue.
9. I don't own a bicyle. I know how to ride one though.

I am currently majoring in vocal/piano teaching and want to become a recording artist and teacher. So when I was a kid I always wanted to go to Nashville,TN and record. So I am getting towards that goal of recording my songs, but I will be doing them at my house with my own equipment.

4. A random stranger walks up to you and hands you three plane tickets to your dream destination - where is that destination, and whom do you take with you? Ireland!!!!!! I would bring my sister Bethany and my friend Lindsey because they have always wanted to go to Ireland too. 

5. If you are in college, what is your major? If you are not in college, what is one subject that you are passionate about? My Major is in vocal and piano teaching/performance. 

6. What is your favorite kind of weather? Winter! Yes I am crazy I know. ;)

7. If you could attend any one concert of your choosing, whom would you go see? Leeland!!!! Hence, the reason why I used Leeland only music for my vlog. 

8. What country/countries do your ancestors come from? Ireland, Scotland, and Germany and a little native american indian.

9. Is there any one theological question about the Bible or something in it that has always puzzled you, and if it's not too private, could you share it? Calvinism as always puzzled me, especially the doctrins of predestination and election. 

10. How long is your hair? It goes down to my waist when its wet and its about half way down my back when curly. 

11. What was the last book that made you cry? Nope its never happened! Sorry. Its happened during plenty of movies though. :)

Thrift Haul and Etsy Haul

I thought I would share some items I found recently over the weekend and received in the mail last week. Enjoy! You can see Geekiana's etsy shop here. The vintage slip I will be using a lot especially for World War 2 reenacting and under longer dresses/skirts. It is nylon so thats perfect for vintage accurate fashion. I also bought a dozen records. So check them out in my video! I can't wait to play the records on a record player someday.

I am absolutely loving my new Frank Sinatra album from amazon!!! Its Come Dance with me and I could not help but dance when listening while walking today. :) The people driving by probably thought I was crazy but I just had to dance. :)

Freedom for Birth

Everyone needs to watch this!!!! I saw this movie with my sister about a month ago when it came out and it was by far one of the best I have ever seen in a long time about a social and political issue. Please take the time to watch the video and then act. We need freedom for birth, if we don't have that freedom that means we are losing our freedom.
