My antique treasure

Hello everyone!

Here is my promised post about something vintage or from the thrift store I have found each week. Here is my antique/vintage post! I love finding old stuff for good prices and used items for free! here is my freebie antique dresser my mother and I found while going on a walk in our little town last summer. I was so suprised to find this treasure! It is used obviously and our neighbors down the street were just throwing it out, so I rescued this peice! Its my favorite peice of furniture besides my hope chest in my room! I love the curved top of the dresser! its such a nice touch I think!

It even has the same curved lines on the bottom as well! :)

The drawers are even curved! I thought this peice had so much character and charm I just could not leave it there to be taken to the dump or another person's home! :)So here it sits beneath the one window in my room as the snow keeps falling outside. I keep my civil war hats, my regency bonnet, and my cloche hat on top of my hat box, with my vintage fur muff inside. I also keep a box for my jewelry and a little plate to keep jewelry I am currently going to wear. And of course some photos of family and friends and my dried flowers from my parents for my 18th birthday last year I had my favorite yellow roses. I dried them to remember.
Have a great day! we have about 25 inches of snow here! And the snow is still coming down!
In Christ,
Rebecca
