So Taylor Swift is not my thing.....

but this is amazing! I love the cello and the piano combo on this. So its worth a listen. It inspired me once again to pick up the cello sometime! Its been a dream of mine to play the cello! I love the deep, rich tone of it and ever since watching Master and Commander a few years ago I was dreaming of playing Chopin's cello solo someday! still dreaming and I even found a teacher in my area. But right now I don't have the time with piano playing for my church and my voice major. someday maybe my sister and I can do harp and cello duets! its a dream of ours.

have a lovely saturday! I am knitting and reading Patriots History of the US while listening to this video. Next I am going to finish Northanger Abbey on Librivox. You can see it here- http://librivox.org/northanger-abbey-by-jane-austen/

I'm glad you enjoyed it! His combo of Pachelbell's Canon and a U2 song is also beautiful listening.

This is so beautiful! I'm not a huge fan of Taylor Swift but some of her tunes are catchy and some of the melodies are really lovely.
Enjoy Northanger Abbey, it's my favorite! :)

I don't like Taylor Swift either but this is a really nice piece. (It is hilarious how the pianist starts standing up and getting into his playing. So funny!) I also love the cello, A LOT! Violins, cellos, violas, any stringed instrument is just beautiful to me. That would be awesome if you were to learn to play it one day and fulfill your dream. It is so awesome that you were inspired to play by Master and Commander! Love that movie! Love that movie's soundtrack! Two good looking men, in old-fashioned attire, drinking tea, on a ship, while playing a cello and violin duet. Now THAT is perfect! Haha!

Yep everyone I must say the cello gives me chills and I believe its such a beautiful instrument! I also love the piano and this piano arrangement gave me chills! so pretty!

Glad you all enjoyed it too and yes taylor swift is not really someone I want to immulate or listen to a lot as I believe it can have a girl go into the snare of discontentment and longing for love in a guy and not the Lord. So I stay away from her love songs.

Danielle your comment made me smile and laugh! :) haha No two men in old fashioned apparel on an awesome ship are not my only reason for wanting to play the cello. Ever since I was a little girl I was always amazed at the instrument and thought it was so beautiful! I want to sew up a billion 50's dresses and play the cello! :) I need poofy skirts in order to sit in that position and what better excuse for wearing big dresses than because I play the cello. :) Ha ha! So that is my dream to sew up beautiful dresses and play the cello with my sister playing the harp. :)

Rebecca

I had forgotten to check back here for your reply! Hehe! :-D I think that is a wonderful aspiration and a perfect excuse to sew up tons of poofy dresses. I too want 50s styled dresses anyway, so I know the desire. Perhaps your dream shall come true one day. ;-)
