Isn't He amazing?<br /><br />I am studying the book of Philippians for this month, and I know that this verse is the hardest so far...but then comes the one in Chapter 4 - Rejoice in Our Lord always, I say it again, Rejoice! I agree--it can be very difficult to "do all things without grumbling or questioning". I often have to repeat to myself "With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." (Ephesians 4:2-3). When those around me are behaving in a less than kind manner, it can be far too easy to respond in kind. Yet I have no right to conduct myself that way. As a Christian my conduct must be ordered by the Scriptures, not by how I might think a person deserves to be treated. <br /><br />Thank you for sharing these important reflections!
